The GYROKINESIS® method is a continuous flowing movement method embodying rhythmic exercises which aim to a vibrant body that radiates health and vitality!

The objective of the Gyrokinesis classes ‘Step-by-Step’ is to provide a deeper sense and understanding of conscious movement that will help you with the precision and accuracy through a graceful and therapeutic perspective.

Through a step-by-step journey of the Gyrokinesis exercises the lessons are focused on the body posture and movement while seated, standing or lying down, providing techniques which can be applied into everyday life.

With ‘Step-by-Step’ lessons you learn:

  • the principles of the Gyrokinesis movement method in practice

  • how to strengthen the body and open the meridians at the same time

  • how to activate and engage your various body parts more effectively

  • how to synchronize movement with breath

  • how to improve your movements in your daily life in a healthier and more graceful way

‘Step-by-Step’ lessons are ideal for:

  • beginners in movement generally who want to learn about the principles of a healthy body posture and movement, to activate their profound strength and flexibility, to be relieved from painful movements or stiff joints

  • people whose daily life includes no or limited exercise and look for easy and gentle practices which they can apply in their daily movements

  • beginners or advanced movers in the Gyrokinesis method who want to elaborate deeper and expand their movement awareness

  • professionals whose work requires heavy bodily practices, who need to protect themselves from injuries and increase their flexibility while maintaining their functional strength

  • people with specific injuries, pains or stiffness (neck, shoulders, arms, middle or lower back, hips, knees, etc.), unbalanced skeletal structure (lordosis, kyphosis, scoliosis, knock-kneed or bow-legged, etc.), neuromuscular or skeletal diseases (numbness, weak or blocked muscles or tendons, osteoporosis, etc.), autoimmune diseases (arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, etc.). Private lessons are recommended for these cases (see below).

Regular Group Lessons

Each lesson is focused on specific body areas depending on the topic and goal of the class. It starts with a brief introduction followed by practicing specifically associated exercises which embody the principles of the Gyrokinesis method. We gradually elaborate on the depth and details of the exercises and on their synchronization with the breath.

All the exercises are introduced slowly and in such a way that everyone can understand and apply them.

Regular Group Lessons last 60-75’ and are held:

  • In Person (at a specific location indoors or outdoors)

  • Online (live via zoom)

Price for Regular Group Lessons:

  • 1 Single lesson: 25€ (In Person) / 20€ (Online)

  • 2 lessons/month: 40€ (In Person) / 35€ (Online)

  • 4 lessons/month: 60€ (In Person) / 50€ (Online)

  • 8 lessons/month: 110€ (In Person) / 95€ (Online)

Private Group Lessons (3-20 people)

The lessons in Private Groups are ideal for those who want to learn and practice the Gyrokinesis method with their friends and prefer privacy.

They are conducted in a similar way to the Regular Group Lessons (see above), but they are specifically tailored to the needs of the group members.

It is recommended that the members of a private group have common interests associated with the benefits they want to receive from the lessons independently of their age or body shape.

For more than one Private Group lessons, fixed dates are agreed beforehand.

Private Group Lessons last 60-75’ and are held:

  • In Person (at a specific location indoors or outdoors)

  • Online (live via zoom)

Semi-Private Lessons (2 people)

Semi-Private lessons are ideal for couples or for 2 close friends who already have common interests or want to create a joyful and useful one that can help them both individually (to increase their personal wellbeing) and also as a team.

These lessons are similar to Private Lessons (see below) and they are designed in such a way that the participants can gradually start applying the exercises by themselves, alone or together, without the presence of the instructor.

Semi-Private Lessons last 60-90’ and are held:

  • In Person (either at the client’s or instructor’s place)

  • Online (live via zoom)

Price for a Semi-Private Lessons per person:

  • For 1 hour (60’): 35€ (In Person) / 30€ (Online)

  • For 1.5 hours (90’): 50€ (In Person) / 45€ (Online)

The 1st lesson lasts 1:30’-1:45’ and the price per person is 35€. It includes:

  • Short introduction & information gathering to identify the focus of the lesson

  • Description of the process

  • Training guidance and the principles of the method both as a learning skill and in practice

  • Possible recommended exercises for homework (for specific injuries, pains, neuromuscular or skeletal issues)

There are discounted prices for prepaid packages of at least 4 lessons.

Private Lessons / Personal Training

Private lessons are the best fit for those who look for personalized exercises which are tailored to their specific needs and goals and prefer privacy and deeper focus.

In particular, the ‘Step-by-Step’ Private lessons include more in-depth exercises and hands-on guidance in order to increase the experience of the exercises as well as the level of body and movement awareness of the individual. These lessons provide the knowledge, the practical training and experience in order for the individual to embody the exercises and the principles of the Gyrokinesis method into one’s daily movements.

The lessons can either be focused on the technical aspect of the method (as a skill or learning process) or can be focused on the health and wellbeing of the individual (as a therapeutic movement). Most lessons combine both.

Private lessons are ideal for all individuals (as mentioned in the beginning of this page) and especially for:
