The GYROKINESIS® method is a continuous flowing movement method embodying rhythmic exercises which aim to a vibrant body that radiates health and vitality!

The main focus of the Gyrokinesis sessions ‘In-the-Flow’ is the advanced quality and flow of movement so that the vital energy is activated and runs with balance throughout the whole body. The exercises follow a sequence of rhythmic, flowing movements which have deep awakening and healing results. The rhythm depends on the focus of the class and varies according to the exercises.

The sequences of the exercises during the Gyrokinesis sessions ‘In-the-Flow’ work gently on the entire body:

  • strengthening, releasing and engaging all parts of the body in balance

  • increasing durability, core strength and range of motion

  • synchronizing movement and breath

  • stimulating fascia and the neuromuscular system

  • opening the meridians in the body

  • encouraging the free flow of vital energy

  • increasing the sense of tranquility and inner peace

‘In-the-Flow’ Gyrokinesis sessions are ideal for:

Most of ‘In-the-Flow’ sessions are accompanied with specialized rhythmic music aiming to enhance the experience of the flow of a deep dance-like journey in a meditative state!


Regular Group Sessions

— SCHEDULED WEEKLY —

Each session begins with breathing and moving rhythmic sequences on a stool or mat to prepare the body. These are followed by floor or standing flowing exercises, according to the difficulty level of the class. As the session progresses the sequence and rhythm of the exercises become more and more challenging. Depending on the time of session (morning or evening), the sequence of the exercises changes. The class ends with moving or meditative techniques that prepare the body and mind to step back into the everyday world, more balanced and with expanded awareness.

Prerequisite for the ‘In-the-Flow’ Group Sessions (one of the following):

  • practitioner or professional mover (dancer, acrobat, movement instructor, etc.) or with increased movement awareness, OR

  • completed at least 2 Private Lessons / Personal Training Sessions, OR

  • completed at least 4 ‘Step-by-Step’ Group Lessons

Regular Group Sessions last 60-75’ and are held:

  • In Person (at a specific location indoors or outdoors)

  • Online (live via zoom)

Price for Regular Group Sessions:

  • 1 Single Session: 25€ (In Person) / 20€ (Online)

  • 2 Sessions/Month: 40€ (In Person) / 35€ (Online)

  • 4 Sessions/Month: 60€ (In Person) / 50€ (Online)

  • 8 Sessions/Month: 110€ (In Person) / 95€ (Online)

Private Group Sessions (3-20 people)

Sessions in Private Groups are ideal for those who want to practice the Gyrokinesis method with their friends and prefer privacy.

They are conducted in a similar way to the group classes, but they are specifically tailored to the needs of the group members.

It is recommended that the members of a private group have common interests associated with the benefits they want to receive from the lessons independently of their age or body shape.

For more than one Private Group sessions, fixed dates are agreed beforehand.

Private Group Sessions last 60-75’ and are held:

  • In Person (at a specific location indoors or outdoors)

  • Online (live via zoom)

Semi-Private Sessions (2 people)

Semi-Private sessions are ideal for couples or for 2 close friends who already have common interests or want to create a joyful and useful one that can help them both individually (to increase their personal wellbeing) and also as a team.

These sessions are similar to Private Sessions (see below) and they are designed in such a way that the participants can gradually start applying the exercises by themselves, alone or together, without the presence of the instructor.

Semi-Private Sessions last 60-90’ and are held:

  • In Person (either at the client’s or instructor’s place)

  • Online (live via zoom)

Price for a Semi-Private Session per person:

  • For 1 hour (60’): 35€ (In Person) / 30€ (Online)

  • For 1.5 hours (90’): 50€ (In Person) / 45€ (Online)

The 1st session lasts 1:30’-1:45’ and the price per person is 35€. It includes:

  • Short introduction & information gathering to identify the focus of the lesson

  • Description of the process

  • Training guidance on the principles of the method through a rhythmic sequence of continuous exercises

  • Dance-like movement journey

There are discounted prices for prepaid packages of at least 4 sessions.

Private Sessions / Personal Training

Private sessions are the best fit for those who look for personalized exercises which are tailored to their specific needs and goals and prefer privacy and deeper focus.

In particular, the ‘In-the-Flow’ Private sessions include sequences of continuous rhythmic exercises and hands-on guidance in order to increase the experience of the quality and flow of the exercises. The individual learns and embodies faster and easier the connection between the healing and graceful aspects of exercising and moving in general.

These sessions are ideal for all movement practitioners, instructors or professionals (as mentioned in the beginning of this page) and especially for:

  • practitioners or professionals in various movement methods (athletes, dancers, movement instructors, actors, etc.) who want to reach their peak performance physically and energetically through a more holistic and therapeutic approach that can protect them from possible injuries

  • (former) movement practitioners who have stayed inactive for a long period and want to release their blocks and stiffness and reclaim their confidence, grace and stamina

  • individuals, movement practitioners or professionals who look for deeper focus, more attention and personal guidance in their personal movement journey in order to move on to their next physical & energy levels

  • people whose overloaded schedule does not allow them to join the regular group sessions

  • people who love body movement and are willing to receive deeper and more extensive training in order to prepare themselves as a Gyrokinesis practitioner

  • movement practitioners with specific injuries, pains or stiffness, or those who are recovering from an injury or have completed their physiotherapies and need gentle and gradual body strengthening and flexibility (in some cases and specifically for beginners ‘Step-by-Step’ Private Lessons are recommended)
